Stir-Fried Noodles


Ingredients:


- 200g Hakka noodles


- 1 capsicum, thinly sliced


- 1 carrot, thinly sliced


- Handful of beans, thinly sliced


- 1 onion, thinly sliced


- 3-4 cloves of garlic, chopped


- 1 cup cabbage, thinly sliced


- 2 tablespoons sesame oil


- 1 red chili, chopped


- Salt and pepper to taste


- 2 tablespoons tomato ketchup


- 1 tablespoon soy sauce


- 1 tablespoon green chili sauce


- Instant noodle masala powder (optional)


- Additional oil for frying



Instructions:



1. Boil the Hakka noodles in salted water according to package instructions. Once cooked, drain and set aside.



2. Heat sesame oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add chopped garlic and red chili. Cook until garlic turns brown and fragrant.



3. Add all the sliced vegetables (capsicum, carrot, beans, onion, cabbage) to the pan. Stir-fry on high heat for about 3-4 minutes or until vegetables are tender-crisp.



4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.



5. Add the boiled noodles to the stir-fried vegetables. Toss everything together until well combined.



6. In a small bowl, mix together tomato ketchup, soy sauce, green chili sauce, and instant noodle masala powder (if using).



7. Pour the sauce mixture over the noodles and vegetables. Toss well to coat everything evenly. If needed, add a little more oil for moisture and flavor.



8. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly, until everything is heated through and well mixed.



9. Serve hot and enjoy your perfect stir-fried noodles!
