Easy Paneer 65 Recipe

Ingredients:

- 250 grams paneer (Indian cottage cheese), cut into cubes

- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour (maida)

- 2 tablespoons cornflour (cornstarch)

- 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste

- 1 teaspoon red chili powder

- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala

-1 teaspoon kesari(orange coloring) powder

- Salt to taste

- Oil for deep frying

- Curry leaves for garnish (optional) -Chaat masala


Preparation Time:

-Preparation: 15 minutes

-Cooking: 20 minutes

-Total: 35 minutes


Servings:

- 4 servings


Instructions:

1. In a bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, cornflour, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, kesari powder and salt.

2. Add a little water to make a thick batter.

3. Dip the paneer cubes in the batter, ensuring they are well coated.

4. Heat oil for deep frying in a pan.

5. Fry the paneer cubes in batches until golden brown and crisp. Drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.

6. In a separate pan, heat a little oil and fry some curry leaves until crisp. Use these for garnish. (optional)

7. Sprinkle some chaat masala on top of the paneer 65 and toss it well.

8. Serve the paneer 65 hot with ketchup or mint chutney.
