Easy Indian Gooseberry/ Amla Juice Recipe

Indian gooseberry, or Amla, is revered in Ayurveda for its numerous health benefits.

Rich in vitamin C and antioxidants, Amla boosts immunity, aids digestion, promotes radiant skin, and supports hair health.

In this simple recipe, we harness the power of Amla along with refreshing mint, zesty ginger, and natural honey to create a nutritious and delicious juice.

Ingredients:

- 7-8Indian gooseberries (Amla), washed and deseeded

- 5-6 fresh mint leaves

- 1 small piece of ginger, peeled and chopped

- 1 tablespoon honey

- 1 cup water

Instructions:

1. Cut the Indian gooseberries into small pieces, discarding the seeds.

2. Place the chopped gooseberries, mint leaves, and chopped ginger into a blender.

3. Add water to the blender.

4. Blend the mixture until smooth.

5. Strain the juice using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth to remove any pulp. (Here, my juicer comes with a filter)

6. Stir in honey until it's fully dissolved.

7. Pour the juice into glasses and serve chilled.

8. Optionally, garnish with a mint leaf before serving.
